Have you lost a child or grandchild?

Has someone you love lost a child?

Do you need a safe place to chat or

valuable resources for recovery?

I am here to help you choose, and find a way,
 to achieve healthy progress
toward creating a new normal in
your life and family.

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the site. I am both glad you have found it and saddened that you needed to. Presumably if you are here, you or someone you care about has lost a child or grandchild. This is a path I never anticipated stepping onto, but life and death does happen. There isn't much to be done about that.

We can choose how we react, whether we heal, and what steps to take to succeed in discovering our joy when we have stood at the brink of a bottomless pit of despair. I am here to tell you, I am slowly recovering and so can you. It is hard to know where to begin, so for now I simply say welcome. The site is being constructed over the next couple of weeks and will have regular updates and information to help you on your journey.

In the mean time, bless you on this path and remember to take care of yourself. You honor your lost child when you honor yourself.

Blessings and light,
Kathy

If you have tweens, teens or young adults who have lost a parent, suggest they visit www.kimberlykares.org to gather information from my granddaughter, Lacey Marie.

Kimberly Marie Vasquez, beloved daughter, wife and mother, gave us 37 years, 6 months and 5 days of blessings. I have met many parents on this journey who choose to count how long their children have been gone. If you look at blessings and not losses, you will find yourself moving along the road to recovery sooner rather than later.
